AI Desk Terms

These product terms define AI Desk account authority, durable-work preservation, ADU metering, free usage, progressive billing, and service boundaries.

AI Desk Product Terms · Version 1.0 · Effective October 6, 2026

This product-specific notice supplements Alcoden's general Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Where this notice addresses an AI Desk-specific practice, it governs that practice.

01

Relationship to general terms

These AI Desk Product Terms supplement Alcoden's general Terms of Use. Specific executed agreements or enterprise terms may supersede these terms for the subjects they expressly govern.

02

Account activation and authority

An AI Desk account is tied to an authorized client identity and may be limited to authorized Builds, Jobs, Work Orders, Nodes, connectors, and other bounded work objects. Users may not attempt to access work outside their authority.

02A

Canonical client identity and trial eligibility

AI Desk trial eligibility is tied to the canonical Alcoden client relationship rather than to a single email address, browser session, or invitation. Verified identity links may associate more than one email or account identifier with the same client or contact where there is sufficient evidence of control or an approved identity-resolution event.

AI Desk will not treat a similar name, shared company domain, IP address, or device characteristic as sufficient proof that two people are the same. Where a possible match cannot be verified automatically, Alcoden may hold the registration or trial decision for review.

Think we matched you incorrectly?

The affected registration or verification screen will provide an accessible Contact Alcoden / Dispute This Match option so a genuinely new client can request review without needing to abandon registration.

03

Free trial and monthly included allowance

A new eligible AI Desk client may use a one-time 1,000-ADU no-card trial. That trial does not refresh merely because a new calendar month begins. After valid billing authority is established, the regular AI Desk plan includes the first 1,000 ADU of each UTC calendar month at no charge under the then-current published schedule. Unused monthly included ADU does not roll over.

04

ADU metering

ADU measures accepted AI Desk product activity according to the published schedule. Ordinary conversation outside AI Desk, internal retries, failed authorization, idempotent duplicate requests, and internal status polling are zero-ADU under the current schedule.

05

Progressive marginal pricing

Usage above the free allowance is priced progressively and marginally. Each portion of usage is charged only at the rate published for the band in which that ADU is consumed. Crossing into another band does not reprice earlier usage.

06

Trial-limit hold and work preservation

No-work-loss rule.

If the one-time no-card trial is exhausted and no valid billing authority exists, AI Desk stops new metered actions before execution. Existing durable work is preserved.

The trial is tied to the canonical Alcoden client identity and cannot be refreshed by creating another login, email alias, invitation, or AI Desk account. Adding valid billing authority resumes metered operation against the same account and the same durable Build/Job/Work Order/Node/version/checkpoint state.

07

Monthly included allowance after billing activation

Once valid billing authority has been established, each UTC calendar month receives the then-current included allowance, presently 1,000 ADU. Monthly reset does not recreate the original no-card trial. If billing authority is later removed, any continuation rights are governed by the current account and billing state rather than by issuing a new trial.

08

Payment and billing

When a client adds billing authority, AI Desk may accrue charges for billable ADU above the free allowance. Provider-specific payment terms, invoices, taxes, refunds, disputes, and payment failures may be governed by additional checkout/billing terms presented at activation.

09

Identity resolution and account review

The one-time no-card trial is tied to the canonical Alcoden client relationship, not merely an email address or browser session. Alcoden may link verified identities to an existing client when authoritative evidence supports that relationship. Similar names, email domains, devices, or network addresses alone are not sufficient to merge accounts.

If registration is blocked because an existing account or prior trial is detected and the person believes that determination is incorrect, a Contact Alcoden / Request Identity Review path will be available. Alcoden may review relevant account and registration evidence and resolve the request as an existing or genuinely new client without exposing another client's records.

10

Acceptable use

You may not use AI Desk to exceed granted authority, evade metering, defeat access controls, probe other clients' records, introduce malicious code, abuse connectors, or cause AI Desk to perform unlawful activity. Alcoden may restrict activity reasonably necessary to protect service integrity, clients, providers, or legal obligations.

11

Client responsibility

The client remains responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of material it supplies, the authority of users it permits to act, third-party account permissions it connects, and decisions to deploy or rely on resulting work unless an executed agreement expressly assigns responsibility differently.

12

Availability and changes

AI Desk may evolve over time. Alcoden may change features, metering definitions, prices, limits, or provider integrations prospectively with appropriate notice where required. Already accepted durable work is not automatically deleted because a feature, billing status, or product state changes.

13

Support and contact

AI Desk support is available through the product Support surface and aigov@alcoden-os.com. Include the AI Desk account/reference and a concise description of the issue; do not email passwords or secret credentials.
